    Author’s note: “Ryan Adams was born in 1974 in former mill town Jacksonville, North Carolina. After many years of writing songs and making albums and traveling the globe, he left a life of nihilism and settled in Southern California. He moved away from New York City in 2009 after losing his mind on prescription medicine meant to help him sleep. He did not sleep for about three months, lost his mind again, and stopped taking pills. Then he married his awesome wife. He no longer smokes, drinks booze, or snorts anything but the chilly morning air. He is the author of Infinity Blues and his own bio.”
