So what if I acted like a child in a candy store trying to rush my sister to go out of the house with me? It’s totally worth the exerted effort, though it would have been way better if i happened to be in someplace where you can perfectly view it, like in Nepal or in China.
My sister, i couldn’t help but be surprised when she said:
“The hell you think you’re doing, you’re not supposed to look at it directly unless you have an eye equipment or something…”
Then she went on educating me on how long will the eclipse be visible and where’s the best place in the world to actually witness it and how and why exactly it takes place. Yeah, she went on explaining stuffs like how the moon passes between the earth and the sun making the latter partially or fully covered. She went through the whole astronomical explanation with a certain amount of conviction that i couldn’t help but be blown away! Man, am I the only coconut in the family?
I ended up grumbling:
“Wait, are you a walking Wikipedia or something? I already knew about those stuff (a stupid lie*) so if you don’t mind shutting your mouth up so i can relish this moment?”
I can be a total hard ass sometimes…lol*
